Today I went to a clothing store and did what one normally would do. I looked through racks of blouses, jackets, dresses, and pants. I managed to come across a nice pair of pants that I have been on the hunt for. Thrilled with excitement, I quickly walked to the dressing rooms to try them on. As I was putting them on, slowly did I start to realize the truth about these pants that I was so excited for only a minute ago. First I stick my hands into the two front pockets. The holes only allowed my fingertips to actually make it through. Disappointed I move on and see there is a back pocket. I go to put my hand in and my eyebrows furrow. This pocket isn't real. By this point I'm annoyed and am trying to figure whether or not to deal with these complications. Surprise! I decided not. Right after the pocket issues I noticed the cute belt that was tied around the waist didn't exactly go around the waist. It started from the sides of my hips and tied in front. The designer of these pants seriously couldn't go all the way in adding an actual belt? I almost tore the pants off me, just like in the movies.
So now I am here to call out and ask every pants designer, why do you rip females off? Why is it that you believe we wouldn't want a real back pocket or front pockets that we can stick more than our fingertips in? I understand if you don't want to add any back pockets, so don't! Just don't trick us by adding a fake pocket either, it's not a cute decoration, it's cruel. Also please, just go the extra mile, it's easier to add a real belt rather than to half-ass it.
xx, MIN DAE
